Overview
Another Day, Another Voyage is a Chrome extension game that uses Google sign-in and Firebase to synchronize game progress. This policy explains what information is processed, why it is needed, and how you can request its deletion.

Shared Game Information
Authenticated players may see your display name, current shared voyage, ship type, route, community contribution, and fixed thank-you count. Your email address, Google account identifier, cargo, Gold, and license key are not shown to other players.
The extension does not provide free-form chat. NPC sailor names may be displayed when there are not enough active users.
Third-Party Services
Google Identity and Firebase
Authentication and synchronized game storage are provided by Google. Their handling of information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
Gumroad
When Premium license activation is available, the extension or its verification service sends the entered license key and product identifier to Gumroad's license verification API. Purchases and license verification are governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
Chrome Permissions
- identity - Sign in with the Google account selected by the user.
- storage - Store local interface preferences and voyage badge state.
- alarms - Update voyage timing after the popup is closed.
- notifications - Notify the user when a voyage arrives or an important event occurs.
Analytics and Advertising
Version 1.0.0 does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, or an analytics SDK. Game data is not sold to third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local preferences remain until the extension data is cleared or the extension is uninstalled. Signing out ends the local authentication session but does not automatically delete synchronized Firestore game data.
To request deletion of your Firebase game account and associated synchronized data, contact niztodream@gmail.com from the Google account email used in the extension. Reasonable verification may be required before deletion.
Expired active-voyage records are no longer displayed and may be removed according to the service's cleanup process. Community contribution records may be retained to preserve completed project results and prevent duplicate rewards.
Security
Firestore security rules restrict private user documents to the authenticated account. Shared voyage and community records are readable only by authenticated players. No method of online storage is completely secure, but access is limited to what is required to operate the game.
Children's Privacy
The extension is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when features, service providers, or data practices change. The latest revision date will be displayed at the top of this page.
